Ruth Gardner Kester, 93, of Bozeman, Montana and formerly of Olney, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014.  Interment of ashes at a later date.

Ruth was born December 20, 1920, the daughter of Hobart and Agnes Gardner.  She married Walter Kester on September 16, 1950.  He preceded her in death on February 17, 2007.

Ruth is survived by her children, son, Ron Smith and his wife, Lauralee of Olney, daughter, Lisa Perry and her husband, Gary of Manhattan, Mont. and daughter Kim Heindselman and her husband, Alan of rural Noble; eight grandchildren, Robert and Roger Jennings, Matt, Jason and Ellen Smith, Travis Perry and Emily Heindselman Clark and Neal Heindselman; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, June Stivers.
