Lawrence Conour, 53, of Champaign and formerly of Olney and Decatur, died Friday night, October 22, 1971 in Mercy Hospital in Urbana the result of a heart attack.

Mr. Conour left Olney several years ago and was engaged in the floor laying and linoleum business while located here.

Funeral services held at Owens Funeral Home in Champaign with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Champaign.

Mr. Conour was born in Decatur, a son of Charles and Helen Buck Conour. He was a member of the Elks Club in Olney.

He married Dorothy Jane Dennis Feb. 18, 1940 in Decatur; she survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Glen (Sandra) Joeckel, Middletown, Wis.; one sister, Mrs. Donald Miller, Newton; one brother, Charles, St. Francisville; one grandchild and his mother, Mrs. Helen Conour of Newton.
