Josephine Fritchey (Williams)

Helena – Josephine (Fritchey) Williams moved to Montana in 1949, where she was the business manager and medical assistant to Dr. H. Noland Fisher until 1972. She moved to Helena in 1976.

Mrs. Williams, 68, died Tuesday, November 18, 1986 from lung cancer.

She was born February 22, 1918 in Claremont, Illinois, daughter of John A. and Anna (Bower) Fritchey, and educated in Illinois. She was vice-president of the Claremont State Bank when she moved to Montana.

Survivors include her sister, Marianne Fisher of Billings and two brothers, G. David Fritchey of St. Louis, Mo and J. Alden Fritchey of Glasgow, Ky.

Burial of ashes has taken place in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Billings. Memorial service held in First Christian Church in Billings.
