Marjorie Abegglen, 65, Olney died October 17, 1984 in Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.  The body is being donated to medical science.

Mrs. Abegglen was born July 27, 1919 in Olney, the daughter of Charles M. and Ruth (Shafer) VanCleve. She married Paul Abegglen September 21, 1941 and he survives.

She was a member of Elm Street Christian Church.

Other survivors include four sons, Tom, Bill, Jim and John; a daughter, Nancy Brown; a brother, Gilbert VanCleve, Olney; a sister, Elizabeth Scott, Vincennes, Ind. and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Vincent VanCleve.
