Mary Dayton Gassmann (Stonecipher)

Mary Dayton Stonecipher, 86, of Olney, died Wednesday, February 21, 2007, at her residence.

Mrs. Stonecipher was born May 3, 1920, in Olney, the daughter of Zean and Gertrude (Weber) Gassmann.  She married Ross I. Stonecipher. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1976.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney.

Mrs. Stonecipher is survived by her son, Tom Stonecipher and his wife, Deborah, of Boseman, Mont.; daughters, Mary Lou Stonecipher, of Bloomington, Ind., and Jane Stonecipher and her husband, John Lusky, of Portland, Ore.; brother, Frank Gassmann, of Pendleton, Ky.; sisters, Martha Kraeger, of Chicago, and Gertrude Reynolds, of Rockford; and grandchild, Hadley Stonecipher, of Portland, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and three sisters.
