Captolia Totten (Jennings) - Class Of 1935

Captolia Frances Jennings, 57, life long resident of Richland County and of Rt. 1, Olney died Thursday morning October 10, 1974 at the Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill.  Funeral services at Zirkle Funeral Home with Rev. Guy Hardin officiating. Interment in the Ebenezer Cemetery south of Olney.

Mrs. Jennings was born February 24, 1917, the daughter of the late Charles and Fannie Stivers Totten. She was united in marriage June 19, 1935 in Olney with Morris D. Jennings, who survives.

Mrs. Jennings was a faithful and active member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and church associated organizations.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Homer F. and daughter-in-law, Virginia Jennings of Rt. 4, Olney; one daughter, Sharon R. Jennings of Springfield; two brothers, Paul L. of Olney and Charles A.Jr. of Columbus, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Cleo (Charlene) Graper of Haubstadt, Ind., Mrs. Eugene (Mildred) Navolt of Olney and Mrs. Alvin (JoAnn) Kobernus of Virginia, Ill.; one grandson, Mark Jennings and several nieces and nephews.,

Mrs. Jennings was preceded in death by an infant son, Galen Keith and one brother, Levern Totten.
