Claudia Fehrenbacher Shimkos Larrouy, 90, of Evansville, Ind., formerly of Olney, died  Saturday, July 21, 2007, at her residence.  Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Larrouy was born July 20, 1917, in Wendelin, the daughter of Henry and Mary (Nix) Fehrenbacher. She married Stanley Paul Shimkos. He preceded her in death on October 20, 1978. She married Aubrey Larry Larrouy. He preceded her in death.

She was a retired bookkeeper for the Ainsbrooke Garment Factory in Olney. She was a member of St. Benedict's Cathedral in Evansville, Ind.

Mrs. Larrouy is survived by her daughter, Susan Michael and her husband, Mark, of Evansville, Ind.; son, Dan Shimkos and his wife, Maggie, of Okemos, Mich.; daughter-in-law, Esther Thompson, of Pasadena, Md.; grandchildren, Lainie Schrage, Nikki Grigg, Heather George, Jason Shimkos, Carrie Socia, Bryan Shimkos and Susie Shimkos; and great-grandchildren, Drew, Ben and Max Schrage, Molly, Emily and Susie Grigg, Jacob and Jessica Socia, and Quinn Shimkos.

She was preceded in death by two husbands; sons, Stephen "Summy" Shimkos and Phillip Shimkos; great-granddaughter, Scout Merrell Shimkos; sisters, Hermina Fehrenbacher, Lenore Fehrenbacher, George Huffman, Dorothy Kaufmann and Betty Lancaster; and nieces and nephews.
