The Rev. John Corzine Cox, 80, of Woodland Park, Colorado, died May 13, 1998, in Louisville, Ky. He was a retired Methodist minister.

Rev. Cox was born Feb. 7, 1918, in Centerville, Iowa son of Arthur S. and Mary I. Corzine Cox He was married Feb. 21, 1944, to Bette Jane Bolewine, who is deceased.

He is survived by a son, Jack; three daughters, Kitty Keim, Wendy Warner and Rev. Eloise Saltzgaver; a brother, Rev. Ted Cox; a sister, Mary Lou; and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at First United Methodist Church in Boulder. Crist Mortuary in Boulder, in charge of arrangements.  He was cremated and his ashes were scattered in the Rocky Mountains.
