Eloise Cralle (Harmon)

Mrs. Eloise E. Harmon, 53, of Fox Lake, Illinois, formerly of Olney died Saturday at the Wesley Memorial Hospital in Chicago after a long illness.

She was born in Olney on August 9, 1917, daughter of the late Sam and Ethel Cralle. She was a graduate of the Olney Township High School. For the past 16 1/2 years she was clerk of the Richland County Selective Service System and resigned in 1964 due to her health. Mrs. Harmon had operated a Swedish massage shop at her home until her latest illness.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ at Fox Lake, transferring her membership from the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Olney.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. J.W. McKinney, Jr. and two granddaughters, Kim and Dawn McKinney of Fort Belvoir, Va.; five sisters, Mrs. Mayo Poorman of St. Louis, Mrs. Geneva Wenk of Northbrook, Mrs. Virginia Stevens of Jennings, Mo., Mrs. Betty Sterchi of Dundas and Mrs. Norma Wheat of Olney.

Her parents preceded her in death.

At her request, she has bequeathed her remains for research purposes to the State of Illinois.
