Charles E. Harmon, 78, of St. Petersburg, Florida, formerly of Olney died Tuesday, October 1, 1996 at University General Hospital in Seminole, Florida. Graveside services at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney with Rev. Fr. Gerald Hechenberger.

Harmon was born October 12, 1917 in Olney, the son of Charles and Catherine (Diesser) Harmon. He married Ethyl Self November 21, 1989.

He was a retired meat cutter for Kroger’s. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, Fla. And a life member of B.P.O.E. #926 in Olney.

He is survived by his wife, of St. Petersburg; a daughter, Pat McKinney and her husband, Bill of Olney; a brother, Robert Harmon of Vincennes, Ind; a sister, Helen Boeye of Lyons, N.Y.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
