On Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, Marjie (Doty) Lowrance, 85 went to be with her Lord and Savior.  Marjie was born Feb. 28, 1918, in West Salem, Ill., to Alva and Nettie Doty. She married William Fausnacht on March 30, 1941, in Olney, Ill.

After following her husband from pipeline to pipeline, she settled in San Angelo, Texas, in 1961. She was a homemaker and worked with World Gifts Co. and Amway for many years. She taught piano to students of all ages for 40 years. She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ and faithfully served her Lord at 19th Street Church of Christ the last years of her life. She was involved in genealogy and spent the better part of her life doing for others. She was always there when needed with her potato salad.

In March 2001, she married David Lowrance a longtime acquaintance and fellow church member.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, William, of 52 years; a daughter, Almeda Philan; and grandson, Tim Gregg.

She is survived by her husband, David Lowrance of San Angelo; sons, John Fausnacht and wife, Jana, of United Arab Emirates, and Keith Fausnacht and wife, Cheryl, of Troy, Texas; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Keen and husband, Budd, of Lubbock, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
