Margaret E. Harding, 92, went home to be with the Lord Saturday May 24, 2008 at her residence.  Funeral services at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Gary Ryden of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Harding was born on July 29, 1916 in Richland County, the daughter of Grover and Clara (Stone) Nelson. She married Morris Harding on May 12, 1945 at the family residence in rural Richland County. She was a retired employee of the State of Illinois and a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Olney, Order of the Eastern Star, Olney Clio Club, Newton Book Club, West Liberty Women's Club, General Federated Women's Club of Newton, Dorcas Circle and Friendship Clubs at Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her sons, Warren Harding of West Liberty, John Harding and his wife, Ann of West Liberty, daughter, Janet Mahan and her husband, Tom of Surprise, Ariz., four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Harding is preceded in death by her parents, Grover and Clara Nelson, husband, Morris Harding, daughters, Donna and Karen Harding and brother, John Nelson.
