Eloise K. Green, 81, Olney, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998, at her residence, with family at her side.  Prayer service at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with funeral services immediately following at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul E. White officiating. Burial in the Ebenezer Cemetery.

Eloise was born May 13, 1917 in Richland County the daughter of Lyman F. and Bertha (Gallagher) Reed.

She was a very special mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and an active member of the Witty Widows.

She retired from Sears Roebuck after 25 years and worked as a volunteer at Richland Memorial Hospital in recent years.

She is survived by one son, Benny Green and his wife, Candy, of St. Louis; two daughters, Anita Small and her husband, Jeff, of Olney, and Judith Kocher and her husband, Jan, of Claremont; and seven grandchildren, Stephen and Kevin Green, of St. Louis, Stacey and Shelley Small of Olney, Tonia, Kerry and Melissa Kocher of Claremont; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ralph Reed and Howard Reed, and an infant sister.
