Lesley O. Wilson

Lesley O. Wilson, 90, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois died May 25, 2006 at Wabash General Hospital in Mt. Carmel. He was born May 9, 1916 in Patton, Illinois, the son of Worley and Marjorree (Schonert) Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was a World War II Army Air Force veteran. He was a very active member of Evangelical United Methodist Church. He owned and operated the Wilson Upholstery Shop in Mt. Carmel for over 50 years. He retired as a school bus driver for District #348 after 30 years plus.

He married Neva R. Johnson on August 24, 1945 in Mt. Carmel. She preceded him in death on September 30, 2005.

Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Corwin and husband, Tom of Mooresville, Ind. and Barbara Hagler, San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Percy (Ella) Wilson, Tucson, Ariz.; many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife; brother, Pearley Frank Wilson and daughter, Charlene Wilson.

Services at Evangelical United Methodist Church in Mt. Carmel with burial in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
