Kenneth Britton

Kenneth E. Britton, 86, of Arcadia, California, died Thursday September 18, 2003 at Methodist Hospital in Arcadia, California,  of complications following a heart attack.  Graveside services held at Live Oak Memorial Park in Monrovia, Calif.

Mr. Britton was born on December 26, 1916 in Olney, the son of Frank and Cora Belle (Musgrove) Britton.

After serving in the U.S. Army during World War II, he lived and worked in Arcadia where he was a U.S. Postal Clerk until his retirement.  He and his wife, Roberta greatly enjoyed the racing at Santa Anita and attended often.  He was an avid gardener and enjoyed greatly the care of his lawn.  He was a member of First Christian Church in Olney and later in Arcadia.

Mr. Britton is survived by a sister, Cleo Britton of Thayer, Mo.; a brother, Dale Britton of Cherokee Village, Ark.; and nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta, his parents and three brothers.
