Joseph Brassie, Jr., 62, Long Beach, Calif., formerly of Olney died at the family residence Wednesday May 2, 1979  in Long Beach, Calif.  Services at St Joseph's Church in Olney with Rev. Fr. Donald Eichenseer officiating. Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Mr. Brassie was born on June 24, 1917 in Olney, son of Joseph Brassie, Sr. and Florence Chapin. He married Bernice Boatman on May 10, 1947 in Olney. She survives.

He is also survived by two brothers, Lawrence, Cincinnati, Ohio and Edward, Olney and one sister, Mrs. John (Florence) Roth, Olney and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant child, a brother and a sister.

Mr. Brassie was the head custodian of the Golf Course in Long Beach, Calif. for many years.
