Garnett (Powell) Streitz, 83, died Wednesday, March 31, 1999. She was born in 1915 daughter of Levi J. and Katie (Boye) Powell. Funeral services at John L. Zilgenheen & Sons with interment in Sunset Cemetery, Afton, MO.

She was the beloved wife of the late Melvin Streitz, dear mother of Lawrence (Mary) Helvie, Judy (Ed) Pitchua and Sandra Lee Kohl; our dear grandmother, great-grandmother, sister of Ernest Powell; sister-in-law, aunt and friend of many.

She was preceded in death by brother, Ira Powell and sister, Mabel McKinney.

She was a member of St. Paul United Church of  Christ and Grand Oak Hill Senior Center.
