Ethel Louise Hauersperger, 88, of Gifford died Thursday January 13, 2005 at Country Health Nursing Home.  Burial in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery, Thomasboro.

 Mrs. Hauersperger was born Jan. 24, 1916, in Olney, a daughter of Trueman and Margaret Howser Everett. She married Bernard Hauersperger on Oct. 23, 1940, in Rantoul. He died Feb. 4, 2004.

Survivors include a son, Louis Hauersperger of Paxton; a daughter, Chris Bolding of Midwest City, Okla.; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Mrs. Hauersperger was a cook for Rantoul City Schools for 19 years. She a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church, where she was part of the PCCW.
