Mary Elizabeth Burgener, 71, of Olney, IL died Saturday, February 7, 1987 at Richland Memorial Hospital.

She was born August 2, 1915, in Richland County, the daughter of Walter and Martha Mitchell Graves. She married Keith Burgener October 26, 1938 in Crossville and he survives.

She was a member of the Saron United Church of Christ and the Richland County Home Extnesion Association.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Sheldon and Myrl Burgener; a daughter, Judy Zerkle; two brothers, Melvin and Raymond Graves; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Funeral services were held in the Zirkle Funeral Home with burial in the Saron Cemetery
