Charles A. Clodfelter, 86 of Surprise, Arizona, died Wednesday, September 17, 2003 in Sun City.

He was born on November 4, 1916 in Richland County, Illinois to Mr. And Mrs. W.D. Clodfelter. He graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1939 and received an MS degree in zoology from the University of Iowa.

He was married to Maxine Corzine in Carbondale, Illinois in June, 1940. He lived in Carbondale, Illinois and St. Louis and Dexter, Missouri before moving to Arizona in 1989.

He is survived by a daughter, Susan Tuckley from Ohio; one grandson, one grandaughter; a great-grandson; a sister, Verta Mae Miller of St. Louis, Mo., and a sister-in law; and two neices and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his wife in March, 2003.

A Memorial Service held at the Bellevue Heights Baptist Church 9440 W. Hutton Drive, Sun City, Ariz.
