Victor Wagner - Class Of 1934

Victor Orris "Papa Vic" Wagner, 84, of Conroe, Texas died Wednesday October 28, 1998 at his home.  Services at First United Methodist Church in Conroe, Texas with Dr. Don Little officiating.

Mr. Wagner was born October 13, 1914 in the Olney area, the son of Orris and Blanche Rose Wagner of Calhoun and Olney. He married Enola M. Slunaker June 28, 1934 in Lawrenceville.

He attended and graduated from the three year Calhoun High School in May 1932, continuing his fourth year of high school at Olney Township High School, graduating May 1933.

He was a Shriner, a member of the Scottish Rite, a Mason, a volunteer fireman, an oilman and a volunteer with Meals-on-Wheels. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He had lived in Conroe since 1970. He was a longtime oilman with many years of service in Venezuela and other parts of the world.

He is survived by his wife, Enola; daughters, Mona, Gail, Sandra and Sharon; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters and brother, Clarine Dejarnett, Winona Fulkerson and Rev. Boyd E. Wagner.
