Marjorie Lloyd Zerkle, 97, of Olney, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Cremation rights were accorded.

Marjorie was born October 14, 1917 in Olney township, the oldest child of Lloyd and Ina (Fuson) Combs. She married James "Harold" Zerkle, June 30, 1935 and lived in rural Dundas. She was a seamstress and homemaker and a member of St. Paul UMC where she taught Sunday School and presided over the Woman's Society for many years. She was an avid reader and made many quilts over the years.

She is survived by her son, Roger Leon Zerkle and wife Donna of Flat Rock, IL; Son, Thomas Harold Zerkle and wife Cindy of Olney; Daughter, Cynthia Floriece Zerkle and husband Eric Trost of Olney; Brother, Gerald Fuson Combs of Gettsburg, PA; seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, James Lloyd Zerkle, sister, Winifred Newton, brother, Marion Combs, one granddaughter, Tracye Ann Zerkle, and daughter-in-law, Marjorie Ann Zerkle.

Memorial services at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Olney with burial in Dundas Cemetery.
