Katherine M. Pflaum Walter, 85, of Paramount, Calif. formerly of Olney, died Thursday February 7, 2002 at Suburban Medical Hospital in Paramount, Calif.  Graveside services at Haven Hill Cemetery with Reverend Bruce Rushing officiating.

Ms. Walter was born on February 13, 1916 in Richland County, the daughter of Adam and Dora (Eilenstein) Pflaum.

She was a homemaker.

Ms. Walter is survived by three sons, David Walter and his wife, Erica of Whittier, Calif., John Walter and his wife, Jean of Roanoke, Va. and Jim Walter and his wife, Jennifer of Colton, Calif.; a brother, Carl Pflaum and his wife, June of Noble; a niece, Becky Roth of Robinson; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters.
