Martha Griffin, 84, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Olney, died Tuesday January 2, 2001 at Paradise Valley Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Reverend Charles McDonald officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Griffin was born on February 22, 1916 in Olney, the daughter of Walter H. and Anna (Sterchi) Shultz. She married William Tell Griffin on October 13, 1938. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1972.

She was a retired homemaker.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by a son, Bill Griffin of Phoenix, Ariz.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
