Frieda M. Drinnin, 84, of Crystal City, Missouri, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at home. She was the daughter of  the late Alonzo G. and Maudie E. (Stone) Smith.

Mrs. Drinnin was a manager for United Rescue Mission Thrift Store in Poplar Bluff.

The funeral was Friday at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus with burial in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in south St. Louis County.

Among the survivors are a daughter, Debra L. Carr of Crystal City; two sons, Michael Barton of Oakville and William P. Drinnin of Pevely; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
