Doris Maxine Mullinax-Long, 82, died Monday July 17, 2000 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Funeral services at Johnson Funeral Home in Fairfield with Rev. Elmer Gwaltney officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Parkersburg.

She was born October 4, 1917 in Parkersburg, the daughter of Roy and Venus (Fritchley) Gillespie. She was married to Gilbert Mullinax, who preceded her in death in 1976. She married Eldon Long on March 21, 1981. He survives.

She was a homemaker.

Other survivors include one son, Richard Mullinax and his wife, Sharon of Salt Lake City, Utah; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
