Helen (Hunt) Stivers, 86, of Olney died Wednesday March 10, 2004 at Sterling House in Evansvile, Ind.  Funeral services at Stasi-Grove Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Best officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Stivers was born on June 27, 1917 in Richland County, the daughter of Paul H. and Lulu F. (Totten) Hunt. She married Albert Max Stivers on February 6, 1938. He preceded her in death on December 10, 1979.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Olney.

Mrs. Stivers is survived by a son, Rick Stivers and his wife, Pam of Evansville, Ind.; a daughter, Elaine Shaw and her husband, Wayne of Mt. Carmel; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a sister, Catherine Crosby of Olney.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Sharon Louise; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, John F. Hunt and James L. Hunt and four sisters, Myrtle Jenner, Pauline Gayer, Luella Kemletz and Naomi Spear.
