Florence T. Skinner, 79, of Noble formerly of Olney died Wednesday December 10, 1997 at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Skinner was born October 11, 1918 in Richland County, the daughter of Alva L. and Edna L. (Winans) Brooks.

She was a retired switchboard operator for United Technologies in Detroit, Mich. and a member of Elm Street Christian Church in Olney.

She is survived by five brothers, Charles Brooks of Chicago, Alva L. Brooks, Jr. of Kingston, Okla., Walter Brooks of Roseville, Mich., Kenneth Brooks of Ludington, Mich. and Bob Brooks of Olney; five sisters, Evelyn Burgener of Olney, Mabel Black Holt of Olney, Mildred Head of Fort Myers, Fla., Jeanie Cantwell of Olney and Mary Stewart of Fort Worth, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William.
