Olney Man Dies of Auto Crash Injuries

Delbert Vern Hill, 46, of near Olney died Friday, August 21, 1964 at Richland Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained Thursday when his truck collided with a car on the Dundas Road.

The driver of the car, Reverend William Bastnagel, Evansville, Indiana was reported in satisfactory condition at the hospital.

Delbert was born December 21, 1917 in Richland County, son of Floyd W. and Ida B. Phillips Hill. He married Billie Jo King in 1941 in Rolla, Missouri and she survives.

Also surviving are three children, sons, Mike and Steven and daughter, Debra; brother, Clarence William Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Billie Hill.
