Frances Goss (Plummer)

Mrs. Frances Plummer, age 58, a former resident of Olney and for the past several years, a resident of McMurray, Pa., passed away early this morning, January 11, 1988 at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg, Pa., following an illness which occurred early Sunday morning, when she was stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage.

Funeral services at the Memorial Chapel of the Summers Funeral  Home with Dr. W.A. Robinson officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Plummer was born in Noble, the daughter of Raymond F. Goss and Arlye Franklin Goss. She and her husband were residents of Olney for several years, where he was employed by the Hughes Tool Co. In 1964 he was transferred to the Pittsburg area by the company and they have lived there since. While in Olney they were considered some of this community's finest citizens.

On January 23, 1939 she married Sidney Plummer.

She leaves her husband and a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Clark and her husband, of Des Moines, Iowa and three grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers, Robert Goss of Lexington, Ky. and James Goss of Columbus, Ohio.
