James Edward Wilson, 60, of N. Miami, Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 1978. He was born in Olney, Illinois December 24, 1917 son of William E. and Louise M. (Gaffner) Wilson. He married Lurline Bowlin in 1938.

He was a member of the Stanton Memorial North Shore Baptist Church and Treasurer of Int’l Brotherhood of Operating Engineers Local No. 487 and a WW II Veteran.

Jim is survived by his wife, Lurline of Miami; two sons, John M. of Lawrence, KS and Sam B. of Lawrenceville GA; one daughter, Christina Stratton of Miami Lakes; sister, Mabel Dush Mueller of Coral Gables and six grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister and brother, Fred S. Wilson.
