Dorothy N. Hornbaker, 75, of Ft. Myers, Florida, formerly of Olney died Monday March 7, 1994 at the Health Park Care Center in Ft. Myers.  Graveside services for interment of ashes at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney with Dr. Jeff Zimmerman officiating.

Hornbaker was born February 5, 1919 in Olney, the daughter of Levi Dudley and Belle (Fryman) Roney.  She married Frank Hornbaker in 1941.  He died in 1961.

She was a secretary in the Olney school system and retired from the Illinois Board of Regents in Springfield.

She is survived by a son, Richard A. Lane and his wife, Joanne of Ft. Myers, Fla; a step-brother, Howard Ferguson, Searcy, Ark.; two grandsons and several cousins.

Hornbaker was preceded in death by her husband, parents and her step-mother.
