Mary L. "Chap" McGregor, 82, of Olney died Friday October 27, 2000 at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Reverend Father Jerry Wirth officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. McGregor was born on July 4, 1918 in Olney, the daughter of Edmund and Emma (Ginder) Brookfield. She married Dowane "Pud" McGregor on September 11, 1937. He survives.

She was retired; had worked at the shoe factory and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney.

Mrs. McGregor is survived by her husband, Dowane McGregor of Olney; a son, Mark McGregor and his wife, Jana of Olney; two daughters, Diana Dollahan of Oblong and Donna Erwin and her husband, Jerry of Olney; a brother, Henry Brookfield of Olney; ten grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister and one infant son.
