Martha P. Germer, 72 of Billings, Montana died Wednesday afternoon, August 19, 1987 in Rochester, Minnesota, following surgery.

She was born on October 9, 1914 in Olney, Illinois and raised there, daughter of Jesse W. and Lulu (Leingang) Pepple. She married James S. Germer and they moved to Billings in 1951. He died in 1975.

She enjoyed crossword puzzles, cryptograms and was active in duplicate bridge.

Survivors include two sons, William of Billings and James of Three Forks and two grandsons.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister, Mary E. Pepple; brothers, Jack L.and Frank W. Pepple.

Private family services held at her request.
