Mary “Carolyn” Spencer Ream, age 68, of Thatcher, Arizona died Saturday, December 4, 1982 in Mt. Graham Community Hospital. Memorial services in All Saints Episcopal Church.

Mrs. Ream was born November 19, 1914 in Olney, Illinois, grew up and attended school there. She was a retired teacher, having taught in Albuquerque, Phoenix, Douglas and Cottonwood. She was a graduate of Northwestern University and a past-president of the Phoenix Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma. She was also a member of Alpha Zee Delta Sorority.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dora T. Clevenger and sister, Dorothy Spencer.

She is survived by her husband, Harlow and two sons, Charles of Fullerton, Calif. and Thomas of Tampa, Fla. and three grandchildren.
