Lily Louise Hersman, 80, of Wooster, Ohio died Monday July 19, 1993 at the Wooster Community Hospital. Funeral services at the McIntire, Davis & Greene Funeral Home in Wooster, Ohio with Pastor Alan E. Nathan officiating. Burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Youngstown, Ohio.

Mrs. Hersman was born January 7, 1913 in Olney, the daughter of Herman and Lily (Walker) Lehwald. She married Alex Hersman June 23, 1940 and he preceded her in death April 26, 1986.

Mrs. Hersman was a registered nurse at the Wooster Community Hospital from 1959-1979. She and her husband were former owners of and associated with Stark's Keenys Restaurant.

Mrs. Hersman is survived by two sons, Dr. Richard Hersman of Hampden, Mass. and Mark Hersman of Mansfield, Ohio; one daughter, Mrs. George (Jacqueline) Gingery, with whom she made her home; three brothers, Dr. Carl Lehwald of Salem, Ohio, Howard Lehwald of Lake Wales, Fla. and Richard Lehwald of Spring, Texas; two sisters, Helen Davis of Youngstown, Ohio; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Mrs. Hersman was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, John, Herman and George Lehwald and one sister, Mary.
