Mrs. Mildred Beavers, 59, of 701 W. Elm Street, passed away yesterday afternoon, January 24, 1974 at the Richland Memorial Hospital, following a long period of ill health.

Mrs. Beavers was a lifelong resident of the county and was born in 1914, the daughter of Charles S. Benton and Clara Landis Benton. She had worked in recent years at the Holiday Inn in Olney.

She leaves two brothers and a sister; Charles Benton, of Olney, John Benton of Escocndido, Calif., and Mrs. Laura English of San Diego, Cal. There are several nieces and nephews.

She has been preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Venable and Nannie Benton.
