Helen Elizabeth (Gallagher) Walters, 81, of Clarksville, Indiana passed away Saturday,  July 31, 1993 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Clarksville. Helen was born April 15, 1912 at Elbow, Illinois, daughter of Jesse M. and Maude V. (Eiler) Gallagher.

She married James E. Courtright in 1932 but later divorced. She married Fred E. Walters in 1943 and he passed away in 1979.

Mrs. Walters had been employed as cashier in a delicatessen.

She is survived by a daughter Nancy Jo Courtright Kraft.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Walters, parents, and siblings, Joy M. Gallagher, Gladys Cruzan, Jesse H. Gallagher, and Beatrice M. Hudson.

Burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville, Indiana.
