Harold Williamson, 90, of Olney died Sunday August 15, 2004 at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Funeral services at Mt. Gilead Church with Pastor Mark Mathis officiating. Burial in Dundas Cemetery.

Mr. Williamson was born on September 27, 1913 in Richland County, the son of John and Edna (Young) Williamson. He married Bernice Celestine Scherer on June 6, 1936.  She preceded him in death on July 25, 1988.

He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Dundas Ruritan Club and Mt. Gilead Church, where he served as Chairman of the Deacons from 1975 to 1992 and was Sunday School Superintendent for 25 years.

Mr. Williamson is survived by a daughter, Sheryl Charleston and her husband, Roger of Olney; three granddaughers, Kristin Snyder of Olney, Heather Ingram of Olney and Jennifer Burgener of Olney; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a brother, Thurl and Sarah Ingram.
