Orel W. '' Jake'' Jacobs, 86, of Lakewood, Colorado, died June 12, 1999. Services were June 16, with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery.

Mr. Jacobs was born in Newton, Ill., on May 23, 1913. He married Lucile M. Prinsen, 1937.

He served in the Navy. He was a buyer for Isabel Kent Oakes Dry Goods Co. He was a member of Kiwanis.

Survivors include his wife; sons David M. of Lakewood, Stephen O. of California; daughter Diane M. Bailey of Highlands Ranch; sister Helen of Illinois; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
