Robert L. Cordier, 71, Albion, died at Richland Memorial Hospital Tuesday, July 5, 1983.  Services at Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Music presiding. Burial in Harrison Cemetery in Lancaster.

He was born in Richland County, March 3, 1912 to Harvey and Mary (Bartley) Cordier. He married Cleo Steffee May 3, 1934. She survives. He was a member of the Little Prairie Christian Church in Edwards County and the Olney Lodge A.F. & A.M.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Susan) Hinderliter, Albion; a sister, Nadine Owen, Mattoon; two grandchildren and two nephews.
