Eleanore "Ellen" Bryan, 85, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2001, in Dallas, Texas.

She was born Nov. 15, 1915, in Claremont, Ill., to Robert F. Beaird and Emma L. Sayre Beaird. She and her husband, John, moved to Bella Vista in 1974, from St. Louis, Mo.

She enjoyed painting, square dancing and the gardening club.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Alden F. Beaird and R. Neil Beaird.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, John C. Bryan; a son, John B. Bryan of St. Peters, Mo.; a daughter, Linda Johnston of Dallas, Texas; a brother, Warren E. Beaird of Peneola, N.C.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services at the Bella Vista Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne L. Bartruff. Burial at the Doug Hill Cemetery in Bella Vista.
