Arda Kirkpatrick, 65, 428 Glenwood St., died Saturday night October 7, 1978 at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Services at Zirkle Funeral Home with Rev. E.P. Schaich officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born March 13, 1913 in Olney to Marion T. and Mabel Glathart Herrin. She married Paul Kirkpatrick August 1, 1948 in Peotone. He died December 14, 1974.

For several years Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a occupational therapist at the Manteno State Hospital, Manteno, and taught piano and organ. She moved to Olney in 1973 and worked at the Olney Carnegie Public Library.

She was a member of the Dorcas Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, Delta Theta Tau, and the First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Roma Maas, Olney and a niece and nephew.

Preceding her in death was a sister, Mrs. Zula Van Almen.
