Mary S. (Worrell) Von Almen, age 81, Olney died Friday, November 4, 1994 at Burgin Manor Nursing Home in Olney. Graveside services held at Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. Von Almen was born November 5, 1912 in Richland County Illinois, the daughter of John and Nettie (Worrell) Barlow. She married Galen Von Almen in May, 1951.  He preceded her in death on October 14, 1979.

Mrs. Von Almen was a member of the First Baptist Church, Olney. She was a retired bookkeeper for Rich-Law and also worked for Blue Flame in Olney.

Survivors include two step-sons, Delbert Von Almen, Morton, Illinois and Paul Von Almen, Cincinnati, Ohio; one nephew, William R. Houser, Effingham; three nieces, Patricia Barche and Marianne Houser, both of Olney and Jane L. Bateman of Flora.

Mrs. Von Almen was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister, Blondeana Houser.
