Miss Dorothy Spencer, 60, of Waukegan, Illinois and formerly of Olney, died December 11, 1971 in the Veterans Hospital in Downey, according to word received here.

Miss Spencer lived in Olney during her youth and graduated from high school here. She was the daughter of the former Mrs. Dora T. Spencer, now Mrs. J.A. Clevenger of Mt. Vernon.

Funeral services held at Myers Funeral Chapel at Mt. Vernon with Rev. Clyde Funkhouser in charge. Burial in Bethel Memorial Cemetery near Mt. Vernon.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. J.A. Clevenger, Mt. Vernon and one sister, Mrs. Harlow Ream, Tucson, Ariz..

Miss Spencer was formerly an Army Nurse, having served during World War II.
