Thelma A. McCarter, 94 of Olney died Tuesday April 18, 2006 at Burgin Manor.  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Wingert officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Mrs. McCarter was born on April 17, 1912 in Olney, the daughter of Charles and Stella (Richards) Nuding. She worked at Wal-Mart, Arcadia Theatre and International Shoe Co. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Olney.

She is survived by her daughter, Kay Harbaugh and her husband, Philip of Olney; three grandchildren, Sean Harbaugh and his fiancee, Angela of Orland, Ind., Don Harbaugh and his wife, Jamie of Tennessee and Charles Harbaugh and his wife, Karen of Danville; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and close friends, Sonya Boulb, Jim and Raedell Sager, Ron Poland, Deb Thomas, Sue Scott and Kris Pflaum.

Mrs. McCarter was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Theodore and granddaughter, Maurissa "Sis" Harbaugh.
