Voyle E Crites, 83, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Olney, died Tueday, Feb 17, 1998 at Gardner Home in Phoenix, AZ.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Masonic services. Brother Bill Cox will officiate. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Crites was born May 5, 1914 in Richland County, the son of Edgar and Avis (Leist) Crites. He married Hazel Mercer on April 11, 1936. She prededed him in death October 29, 1991. He then married Juanita Huffman.

He was retired owner/operator of Crites Shoe Repair and a member of Elm Street Christian Church in Olney and Olney Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Crites, of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, Garry Crites, of Mt. Vernon, OH and Jerry Crites, of Manchester, IN; one daughter, Mary Kay Barnett and her husband, Robert, of Chandler, IN; two sisters, Zelda Phipps, of Mt. Vernon and Vera McCullouch, of Okeechobee, FL; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife.
