Agnes Ledeker (Bratton) - Class Of 1930

Agnes Marie Bratton, 85, of Alton, formerly of Olney died Sunday November 12, 1995 at Alton Memorial Hospital.  Graveside services at Haven Hill Cemetery with Bro. Larry Stivers officiating.

Bratton was born June 3, 1910 in Richland County, the daughter of Albert and Ethel (Shipley) Ledeker. She married Carl Storer. He preceded her in death. She then married Paul Bratton. He also preceded her in death.

She was a retired homemaker and a member of The Church of Christ of Herrin.

She is survived by two sons, Harold Storer of Wood River and Leon Storer of Troy; five step-sons, Arnold Bratton of Louisville, Ky., Kenneth Bratton of Poseyville, Ind., Henry Bratton of Mt. Carmel, Chet Bratton of Poseyville, Ind. and Milton Bratton of Glenwood, Ark.; a daughter, Valeta Coon of Carterville; two step-daughters, Mary Hobbs of Glenwood, Ark. and Phyllis Webb of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a brother, Lloyd Ledeker of Olney; a sister, Ruth Crane of Olney; five grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one son, Larry Dean, three brothers, Ivan, Burl and Ray and two sisters, Rosemary Ledeker and Opal Craig.
