Myra Pittman, 99, of Olney, died Friday, June 25, 2010, at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont.

Mrs. Pittman was born December 12, 1910, in Richland County, the daughter of John and Bertha (Buss) Hanes. She married Beryle Pittman in 1948. He preceded her in death February 7, 1990.

She has worked as a bookkeeper for Hahn Motor Sales. She was affiliated with First United Methodist Church in Olney.

Mrs. Pittman is survived by her son, Robert Pittman and his wife, Carol, of Fairfield, Ohio; and grandchildren, Brian and Christopher Pittman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bertha Hanes; husband, Beryle Pittman; daughter, Betty; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew and Katie; and two brothers, Vernon and Kenneth.
