Joseph Decker - Class Of 1930

Joseph K. Decker, 54, of Flint, Michigan, formerly of Olney, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack,  Friday evening, January 13, 1967 at his home.  Services at First Presbyterian Church in Flint with burial in Flint Memorial Park.

Mr. Decker was equipment sales manager of AC Spark Plug Division. He was a member of the Elks, Flint City Club, Industrial Executive Club, Board of Directors of the Industrial Mutual Association, and the Board of Trustees of Flint Osteopathic Hospital.

He leaves his wife, Mabel; a son, Charles, a student at Michigan State; two daughters, Mrs. Lynn Mellus and Mrs. Jon McCumber; his father, Charles Decker of Olney; two brothers, Glenn and Carl both of Olney; and a sister, Viola of Olney.

He was born in Olney November 26, 1912 and moved to Flint upon graduation from the University of Illinois.

He advanced to a top position in his field.
